Install docker on ubuntu 12.04
This article is a shameless summary from http://compositecode.com
the steps are:
- Updating your kernel to 3.8+ (requires a reboot)
- Add the docker repository
- Installing the package
sudo apt-get install linux-image-generic-lts-raring linux-headers-generic-lts-raring
sudo reboot
sudo sh -c "wget -qO- https://get.docker.io/gpg | apt-key add -"
sudo sh -c "echo deb http://get.docker.io/ubuntu docker main > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list"
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lxc-docker
And now you should be able to get docker working
